Eilleen Rutowski, LMSW
Eilleen Rutowski is a Licensed Master of Social Worker and graduated from SUNY at Buffalo. She has worked in many areas of the Social Work field throughout her career that began more than two decades ago. For the last five years Eilleen has worked as a therapist with children, young adults, women and families assisting them as they navigate challenges with trauma, ADHD, life changes, depression, and anxiety. Eilleen has a strong desire to assist clients in problem solving ways to attain balance, peace and calm in their lives. Eilleen's philosophy in working with clients is to "meet them where they're at". She utilizes active listening, empathy and compassion in her approach to helping clients set goals and attain them and does not push her own agenda.
Eilleen has lived in the Buffalo area her entire life and currently lives in Lancaster with her two adult children who are spreading their wings and learning to fly. Eilleen was blessed to be able to stay home for 19 years to nurture and support them. She re-entered the work force in 2021, as a child and family therapist, seeking new purpose and fulfillment, as her children became more independent. She has found that being a parent has been the toughest and most rewarding job of her life. Eilleen has experienced numerous life challenges and changes related to health, relationships and parenting, that many clients and families go through. Those experiences have afforded her unique perspectives and have been invaluable in shaping her approach to helping clients and families as they navigate their challenges.
In her free time, she continues to work on home projects, supporting her children with their life endeavors, spending time with friends and family, taking walks in nature, and educating herself in ways to help clients.
