Cynthia Haist, Psy.D.
Dr. Cynthia Haist earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Medaille University in 2022. Prior to this, Dr. Haist earned her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Daemen University and her master's degree in Anthrozoology from Canisius University. Dr. Haist is currently preparing to obtain her licensure in New York State. While she prepares, Dr. Haist works as the office manager for Artemis Mental Health Counseling & Wellness. Dr. Haist's long-term goal is to work as a Clinical Psychologist specializing in the integration of Animal Assisted Therapy. Her education and experience have supported her development of a strong foundation in the Common Factors approach to counseling and integration of interventions from various theoretical perspectives based on each individual client's characteristics such as their unique needs, personalities, ways of relating, etc. Despite not offering counseling services at this time, Dr. Haist is excited to assist and support clients and clinicians in her current administrative role at Artemis.
